8991. Harry Best (1863 – 1936) oil painting landscape of California Oaks c1905. Best moved to Yosemite in 1900 and has his studio and home at the base of Bridalveil Falls. His daughter, Virginia Best married Ansel Adams and the studio then became the Ansel Adams Studio in Yosemite. Signed. Less than 1% in-painting. Excellent original condition. 13.75″h x 23.5″w.
