12112. Gunnar Mauritz Widforss (1879 – 1934) Watercolor Kebnekaise Mountain Sweden 1918. Widforss is most noted for his watercolors of Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. This watercolor was painted towards the end of WWI while Widforss was in Sweden. He returned to America and in 1921 discovered Yosemite.
