Harry St John Dixon Hammered Brass Door Knobs c1923.  Set of 3 Dixon doorknobs.  The back plates are stock cast backplates.  Dixon hammered the three door knobs for the Phillips Frisbie Lewis Residence on Broadway Terrace in Oakland.  Lewis was a student of Xavier Martinez at the California College of Arts & Crafts and Armin Hansen in Monterey.  Provenance: Phillips Frisbie Lewis Residence, Oakland.  Backplate 8"h x 2 5/8"w SOLD
