3118. Alfred De Wolffers (1841-1914)hammered copper repousse plaque of classical scene “Daphne and Cloe” c1907.  Belgian artist who left San Francisco right after the earthquake in 1906 and settled in Los Angeles.  Signed.  Excellent original patina.  31″W x 11″H.  Oak frame 39″W x 19″H SOLD
