8896. Ruth Erb Hoffman (1902 – 1968) Hand Carved Mother & Child circa late 1930s. Hoffman was active in the Buffalo, NY area and in the early 1930s helped found the Patteran Society, a progressive alternative to the Buffalo Society of Artists.
