12515. Early Gustav Stickley One-Door China Cabinet 1901. In the first issue of Gustav Stickley’s Craftsman Magazine, October 1901, the last paragraph, Stickley is discussing signing each piece that leaves his workshop “…by the signature of the Master of the Crafts, Gustave Stickley, which, together with the proper date, appears branded upon every object produced in the workshop of the Guild.” This is the only piece that has ever surfaced with this early rare variation of the Gustav Stickley signature.
